The "Hub City" - Located in the beautiful Chehalis River valley, halfway between Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon, the City of Centralia offers a unique mix of nostalgic historic charm and bustling, dynamic industry.
Centralia's central business district is reminiscent of the rich tapestry of life at the turn of the 20th century. The district was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
The web site is a unique mix of private and public financing, designed to both utilize a jumpstart of funds from the city to build the internal web infrastructure and controlling databases, as well as permit independent private development of compatible services.
