HCO pioneered the state's award-winning election reporting system, Vote.WA.Gov. Begun in 1996 with one of the country's first Internet voters guides, Vote.WA.Gov became a leader in providing innovating and extensive election information including real-time results reporting.

HCO operated this system through the primary of 2004, and played a support role in the general election that year as the Secretary of State's office took the project in-house by the end of that year.

The system featured an advanced array of UNIX servers, with load balancing and sophisticated traffic monitoring equipment.

HCO contracts its election server hosting to the region's premier data center, Digital Forest in Bothell, WA. Digital Forest is well versed in the demands that election information places on Internet networks during election night. Voter Outreach - at Vote.WA.Gov In 2002, HCO worked with the Secretary of State's office to develop an election education initiative called Voter Outreach aimed at all of Washington's voters, from school children through adults. Featuring some fun Internet-based games to curriculum for school teachers, the site is a starting point for expanding general information about our election system. Ranked as one of the nation's best election information systems, Vote.WA.Gov has been pioneering the election information management process for the elections industry, including:
	A secure Client Administration area where all of the foundation information from offices to incumbents, candidates to measures are managed by elections staff online.
	Custom file upload processes to permit county election staff to communicate directly between back-end vote counting equipment and the web-based reporting system.
	An array of graphical reports to easily convey to the public the status of any race.
