Vote Washington

Local Election Reporting and Management

VoteWashington manages the election reporting for 10 of Washington's counties, providing "President to Dog Catcher" results. In addition, VoteWashington has a summary of statewide information for all 39 of Washington's counties with links to the local election websites for those not yet participating in VoteWashington.

VoteWashington has been operating successfully since 1999, and has introduced some key innovations to make managing local elections easier for county officials.

Vote WashingtonA new feature in 2003 was "single post reporting" - entering the information once in the local reporting system automatically updated the state's statewide-only reports as well. This single point of data entry was a key desirable voiced by auditors at the 2003 elections conference. It is a reality for VoteWashington clients.

VoteSpokane.Org

The Spokane County election site is a part of the overall VoteWashington project, with some key enhancements. First, it has a custom look to the pages, which more closely reflect the general look of the county's main website.

In addition, in 2003 we added precinct level reporting for Spokane county as well - the first election site in the state to do so in an automated fashion.

VoteSpokane features the most sophisticated results upload process in the state, with a unique error-checking review to guarantee only correct information is posted in the heat of an election night.

Additional features include:

Office Watch - in 2004, a system where you can sign up to receive automatic email notification when a candidate files for an office you wish to "watch".
A private report customized just for you with only the races and issues you wish to see, which refreshes automatically at five minute intervals.
An automatic notification to selected media contacts when election results are posted.
